Stitched Together Premiere Brings Community Together
On February 28, 2026, we welcomed more than 100 community members to the historic Pulaski Theatre in downtown Pulaski, Virginia, for the premiere of Stitched Together, our first in-house documentary production.
The evening brought together families, historians, and community members to celebrate a powerful story rooted in Pulaski County’s history. Stitched Together highlights the voices, memories, and lived experiences connected to the 23/54 Project, our community-driven effort to preserve the stories of the families involved in the historic Corbin et al. v. Pulaski County School Board lawsuit and the broader legacy of Black education in Pulaski.
For those who were unable to attend the premiere, the story does not end there. The Stitched Together documentary is now available to watch online, giving everyone the opportunity to experience the powerful voices and history behind the 23/54 Project.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this special evening and look forward to continuing to share these stories as the project grows.
