Have something broken, damaged, or just not working quite right? Bring it to the Repair Café at the Calfee Center!

A Repair Café is a community event where people can bring broken or damaged household items and work alongside local volunteers with repair skills to see if they can give them a second life. It’s an opportunity to save useful items from the landfill, learn more about how things work, and connect with neighbors who know how to fix them.

What Can I Bring?

Examples of items you might bring include:

  • Small appliances

  • Blenders and toasters

  • Weed eaters and chainsaws

  • Small engines

  • Bicycles

  • Cell phones and laptops

  • Clothing in need of mending or repair

  • Glasses

  • Kids’ toys

  • And other small household items in need of repair

Please arrive between 10 AM and 12 PM so our volunteers have enough time to assess your item and work with you before the Repair Café ends at 2 PM.

Not every item can be repaired, but we’ll do our best to help you figure out what’s wrong and whether it can be fixed.

Before you replace it, bring it by the Repair Café and see if we can give it another life!
