The Photographer's Eye: Seeing Light, Framing Stories

Learn to see the world through a photographer’s eye in this four-week, hands-on workshop series at the Venable Digital Lab. Participants will explore the fundamentals of photography, including lighting, composition and framing, basic camera tools, and photography as an art form. Each session combines practical instruction with hands-on practice, giving participants the opportunity to experiment, create, and develop their own photographic voice.

The Photographer’s Eye is the first in a series of Digital Storykeeper workshops at the Calfee Community & Cultural Center, designed to help participants build the creative and digital skills needed to capture, preserve, and share the stories of our community.

Instructor: Mark Spraker

Mark Spraker is a local videographer and owner of Onward Visuals, helping businesses tell compelling stories that make them stand out.
